Musica Glorifica, founded in 2002 by baroque violinist Jin Kim, is a project-based ensemble devoted to recreating baroque music using historically-informed performance practice. With members drawn from all over the world, the ensemble has presented a diverse repertoire, ranging from small 17th century Italian chamber works to large-scale works such as Handel’s Messiah. Musica Glorifica’s recent concerts have been presented in Japan, South Korea and the United States with diverse programs focusing on the music of Biber, Bach, Telemann, and Corelli.
