Special Event: Chinese Tea Tasting | June 14

David Wong, Tranquil Resonance

Take a break from concert attending and bask in the late afternoon sun (with shade) while enjoying some guqin music curated by David Wong and his San Francisco-based Tranquil Resonance Studio, while sipping several varieties of Chinese tea.

David Wong, 12th-generation inheritor of the Guangling Guqin School, founded Tranquil Resonance Studio (清韻琹舍) in 1998. Named by late painter Huen Moon Yan and logo calligraphy by Fu Wenyan, it promotes classical Chinese arts. Mentored by masters like Liu Weishan, Dai Xiaolian, and Fu Wenyan, Wong aims to preserve and pass on Chinese cultural legacies. Through performances, workshops, and lectures, he educates the community on guqin, guzheng, tea culture, and more. Wong's dedication earned him accolades at the First International Guqin Competition in 2004. Passionate about sharing his knowledge, he lectures at universities and educates at local teahouses, spreading the rich traditions of China.

Please note that due to the intimacy of the venue, there is a limit of 2 tickets per guest.
Total Capacity is 20, and this event is estimated to last about 60–75 minutes.
