John Phillips Harpsichords

John Phillips has been building harpsichords in Berkeley since 1975. With the assistance of skilled co-workers, the shop has produced some 135 new harpsichords and restored a dozen antiques.

Dominic Favia has worked for John Phillips Harpsichords since 2017. In his off hours, he has managed to make two instruments on his own.

On display this year will be a harpsichord after 18th century Florentine originals, decorated by Janine Johnson.
