Timothy G. johnson, luthier

Timothy G. Johnson has made most of his instruments for professional musicians who have clear ideas about what they needed in an instrument.  Creating instruments to fit individual needs takes time and patience, but Mr. Johnson finds the experience challenging and rewarding. After 30 years, he continues to find that he is still learning and loves the art of lutherie, keeping his eyes, ears, and mind open. He loves what he does, and is constantly striving to instill that love into his work.

Also on display will be a selection of fine historical bows made by Louis Bégin of Montreal.
