Sociedad de la Vihuela, Lute, & Guitar

La Sociedad de la Vihuela, el Laúd y la Guitarra (SDLV) is a Spanish cultural association founded in 2004, with the goal of disseminating and promoting dedicated to the study, promotion, and preservation of historical plucked string instruments, in particular, the Renaissance vihuela, lute, theorbo, and baroque guitar. They invite all collaboration.

The Society serves as a hub for performers, musicologists, and instrument builders, publishes the academic journal Hispanica Lyra, books and musical editions. It also provides members with a newsletter and online directories detailing new releases, scores, and cultural events.
